God, the Creator of everything, created us in His image to enjoy a trusting and intimate relationship with Him and others eternally. By loving as how He created us, we give Him honour and praise as Creator.

But mankind’s distrust, reflected in our disobedience, distanced us from God and destined us for death.

Mankind continued to walk further away from God, making the world more broken as pride and self-centredness increased.

But God still loved us and came to us in the man, Jesus Christ. Jesus lived a life of complete trust and obedience to God, humble and loving towards others, as we should have.

Yet His greatest act of love was taking the consequences of our disobedience, allowing Himself to be distanced from God, in our place, as He died on the cross.

Three days later, He rose again proving that He is truly God and inviting all who believe to turn around to receive forgiveness and be restored to Him.
