Dear Every Nation family,
We understand that this is a very difficult season for the church.
As many of you would have known by now, our beloved Pastor Timothy Loh has gone to be with the Lord on 6 April 2024. He had a massive heart attack after a speaking engagement. He was doing what he loves the most – preaching the word of God and encouraging the local church.
We want to encourage everyone to keep his family in prayers and to be as supportive to one another during this grieving season. As we grief in hope, we also want to celebrate the life and the legacy of Pastor Tim. We want to thank the church for their overwhelming support, love and prayers as displayed during the wake and funeral services onsite and online. It was truly an reflection of the kind of impact that he has, both locally and globally.
Let us take heed of the last message that he preached, that is to keep the main thing, the main thing. Stand firm and give fully to the work of the Lord.
1 Corinthians 15
55 “Where, O death, is your victory?
Where, O death, is your sting?”
56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.
57 But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58 Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
亲爱的马来西亚 Every Nation 大家庭，
我们知道现在是教会最困难的时期。
众所周知，我们敬爱的罗牧师于 2024年4月6日，在晚餐交流会后心脏病发作而蒙主恩召。当晚他本来要主持一场领袖培训交流，但却突然失去了意识并没有反应。在场的三位医生立即对他进行了抢救。在他当天讲道的教会，及 Every Nation 教会祷告群中也发起了代祷。
当发现他没有脉搏时，立即进行了心肺复苏抢救（胸外按压和使用专用面罩进行人工呼吸）。包括前往 Ara Damansara 医院的救护车上及医院抢救的时间大约近一个小时，但心脏功能没有恢复。罗牧师最后一刻仍在做他最喜欢的事 – 传讲上帝的话语并鼓励当地教会。
罗牧师自1999年以来一直担任我们马来西亚 Every Nation 教会的主任牧师。在他的指导下，我们在马来西亚的各个城市建立了十四个堂会，中国也有一所。他以简化上帝的话语并融入马来西亚式的幽默而闻名。但更重要的是，罗牧师的讲道、指导和爱触动了许多人的心。
哥林多前书 15
55 “死亡啊！你得胜的权势在哪里？
死亡啊！你的毒钩在哪里？”
56 死亡的毒钩就是罪，罪借着律法施展它的权势。
57 但感谢上帝，祂使我们靠着主耶稣基督得胜。
58 所以，我亲爱的弟兄姊妹，你们务要坚定不移，总要竭力做主的工作，因为你们知道自己在主里面的辛勤付出不会白费。
